2010 - Sappho has had a lovely filly foal by Nynwood Echo.

2008 - We took the decision not to cover Sappho this year due to the move to Wales. However, she will be covered by Nynwood Echo in 2009. 2007 - Sappho has produced a colt foal Marsh Perseus who will be for sale at weaning. 2006 - After having taken a break from breeding this year Sappho is now scanned in foal to our new stallion Lapstone Paragon.

In 1991 the Marsh Stud won the Section A in hand points competition with Marsh Sappho winning the owner/breeder trophy as well as the youngster with the highest points overall. Sappho is now the main stud mare and has produced three filly foals, Marsh Syringa, Marsh Soraya, Marsh Sidero and three colts Marsh Silenus and Marsh Midas.
