Jil Orpen - photography

I have held many international photographic exhibitions on environmental and cultural topics, but more recently I have been presenting my “People of the Thames” exhibitions in museums and an historic house along the Thames River. The sixth in the series is to be exhibited at Milton Gallery, St Paul's School, Barnes from Thursday 26th January – Friday 10th February, 2012 ( weekdays 9am – 5pm).

From my experience in exhibitions has grown an interest in workshops for GCSE/A Level students and others for adults where the fundamentals of photography are taught followed by an afternoon of experimentation with both natural and studio lighting.

Commissioned photography for industries, businesses and heritage sites is offered all over the UK.
